Colorado Spirit is backed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding due to the current pandemic. The federal government has provided money and dispersed it to several mental health facilities in Colorado. We were able to receive this funding to serve those struggling with anxiety and or depression. We get them enrolled in services at health solutions and bring them back to as normal as possible.
“We serve in Pueblo, Huerfano, and Las Animas counties in Colorado, and we want to get the stigma out of mental health. This pandemic has impacted everyone, and nobody should be ashamed to reach out if they find themselves nervous/ anxious about all the uncertainties moving forward,” Karlee Salas said.
Colorado Spirit has purchased 500 custom face masks and is looking to make another 500 purchases. Colorado Spirit is giving away these masks to the homeless, law enforcement, medical workers, and anyone in need of a clean mask in the area.
“We want them to know our brand, and if they need help, we will be there when they are ready to reach out for support,” Karlee said.
